Sen. Abiru Tours Ikorodu – Itoikin, Imota Stadium Projects, Assures Of Commitment To Lagos East Development

Sen. Tokunbo Abiru with his Special Adviser on Constituency Matters, Dr. (Otunba) Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, construction engineers and others, during the tour of Itoikn – Ikorodu Road which is undergoing rehabilitation.

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, today restated his commitment to ensuring developments across the district in his representation at the National Assembly.

Abiru gave the reassurance when he toured the ongoing rehabilitation of Ikorodu – Itoikin Road and Imota Mini – Stadium.

The senator who was accompanied by his Special Adviser on Constituency Matters, Dr. (Otunba) Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle on the tour, said that contractors handling both projects assured him quality projects and timely delivery.

“Earlier today, I visited the Ikorodu Itoikin Road to assess the progress of the ongoing reconstruction project.

“This vital infrastructure connects Ikorodu to Epe, Ijebu Ode, Ibeju Lekki, and several adjoining communities, serving as a major socio-economic corridor for our people.

“Accompanied by my Special Adviser on Constituency Matters, Dr. (Otunba) Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, we inspected the site and engaged with the contractor, Messrs Geld Construction Engineers, to ensure quality delivery and timely completion of the project.

“Also, I visited the Imota Mini Stadium, which is at present under construction, contractors assured to complete the project in record time, in line with my commitment on timely completion of projects.

“I remain committed to ensuring that development projects across the Lagos East Senatorial District are completed and serve the people effectively,” Sen. Tokunbo assured.
